About Keviltub

We sit at the intersection of live performance, movement culture, and digital practice.

Keviltub started from a simple idea: performance and movement deserve spaces that are both rooted in tradition and open to new forms. Our name reflects that blend—something recognisable yet distinct. We are part of the broader Frontline Dance family, sharing a commitment to inclusive, high-quality practice while carving our own path as a creative performance hub and digital movement platform.

What we do spans three pillars. First, we run programmes that support artists and movement practitioners at every stage—from early exploration to professional development. Second, we host workshops and community events that bring people together in the studio and online. Third, our Digital Performance Lab supports experimentation with technology, streaming, and hybrid formats so that performance can reach further and adapt to how people actually engage today.

We believe in art that is rigorous but accessible. Our work is designed to be relevant to anyone curious about dance, theatre, or movement—whether you are taking your first workshop or developing a long-term practice. The UK has a rich history of community performance and integrated practice; we aim to contribute to that tradition while embracing the possibilities of digital and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

We also run community sessions that prioritise participation and connection—whether you have years of experience or are new to movement practice. Events take place in our studio spaces and, where appropriate, online so that geography is not a barrier. Digital Performance Lab

A space for experimentation with digital and hybrid performance.

The Digital Performance Lab is where we test ideas at the edge of live and digital practice. We work with streaming, recording, interactive elements, and hybrid formats so that performance can live in theatres, on screens, and in blended experiences. The lab supports residencies, R&D projects, and partnerships with technologists and other art forms. If you have a project that sits between live performance and digital media, find out more about the lab and how to get involved.
